If you're an ELA teacher and having difficulty getting your students interested in Ye Olde English and Shakespeare, try introducing them to Ian Doescher's William Shakespeare's Star Wars series. Not only are these a fun and fresh look at Star Wars, but a student's familiarity with the films may help them begin to find meaning in those strange words penned by Shakespeare. It might even be fun to have them take a stab at re-writing a Star Wars scene in the voice of Shakespeare.
